How to Knit KLL in 2 Cases (when the row below is K or P row)
In knitting patterns, this stitch is usually abbreviated with “KLL” – Knit left loop. This increase is sometimes also called LLI – left lifted increase. Enter Bạn đã gửi
Step 1:
Using your left knitting needle, insert the tip into the second stitch below the first stitch on your right knitting needle.
Step 2:
Lift this stitch onto your left knitting needle.
Step 3:
Insert the right needle tip through the back loop and knit newly lifted stitch.
Step 4:
Knit the next stitch and and continue knitting according to your pattern.
Note: KLL is a fairly invisible increase when it’s all by itself. If you are increasing at the same position every row, even KRL gets pretty visible. So, try to space them out a bit.
The only downside of the KLL increase is that it tends to create a little gap/eyelet. Normally it’s not visible (certainly not as extreme as a M1L or a yarn over), but you’ll see it when you stretch the fabric.
