I want to share with you one of my cute knitting pattern: a knitted sheep named Simon. He is a sweet and fluffy sheep. He has curly and soft wool, black and shiny eyes, he is wearing a scarf with pom-pom and red sweater. He will makes you feel cozy.
My PDF knitting pattern is written in English, the file is 18 pages PDF, the pattern provides all the necessary information to make Simon.
This pattern tutorial contains detailed instructions and 83 step-by-step figures and you can see my tutorial videos to make him below. It’s very easy to follow.
You can also customize the sheep according to your preference by changing the colors or the accessories.
The pattern is suitable for beginners as well as advanced knitters.
NOTE
This is a pattern to make the knitted sheep, his shirt and scarf. You are not buying an actual finished product.
TECHNIQUES
All pieces are knitted flat and sew seams.
The following techniques you have to know already: cast on, knit and purl, cast off, increasing (KFB, KRL, KLL), decreasing (K2tog, P2tog), sewing (Mattress & Whip stitch)
MATERIALS
- A pair of 2.5mm straight needles.
- Yarn:
+ Mohair Boucle (Kremke Soul Wool or Drops): Gray yarn
+ Susan 4 (Sport yarn): White 06, Dark gray 36, Red 29, Red 29, Green 41, Black 53 ( Or black thread to embroider the nose)
- Toy filling (less than 50g)
- 3 Holders
- 2 Markers
- 2 black beads (4 mm) and white felt for the eyes
- 1 button size (size 1cm)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Sewing pins
- Waterproof cardboard (we’ll cut and put it into the body to the sheep can sit steadily)
FINISHED SIZE
The finished sheep is 25cm.
